The short version: your files are only on our server while you work on them, and we don't sell, share or look at anything.

Who we are

Easy Way PDF is made by WAY LABS LLC. This page covers easywaypdf.com and the browser version of the app at app.easywaypdf.com. Questions: bway@waytechnology.com.

Your files, with the free tools

When you open a file it is uploaded over an encrypted connection to our server in the United States, so the app can work on it. Nobody looks at it. Each file is deleted about two minutes after you close it, and everything you opened is deleted when your session ends (after 15 minutes without use, and never later than two hours). We don't keep copies, we don't read your documents, and we don't use them for anything except doing the job you asked for.

Your files, with an account

If you sign in, you choose: delete each file when you close it, or keep your files for 30 days so Open Recent works. Delete my files now removes them at any time. Files kept for 30 days are deleted after 30 days.

What else we keep

Without an account: a cookie that keeps your session for 24 hours, and your internet address, which we use only to apply the free daily limits. With an account: your name and email, and the signature and details you save in the app. We don't sell or share any of it, and there is no advertising and no tracking on our sites.

Services that handle your information for us

The website is hosted by Vercel. When someone with an account sends a document for signature, the document and the signers' names and emails go to our signing server and the signers get emails from it. When someone with an account uses the AI box, the text of the document is sent to Anthropic to work out what to do; it is not used to train their models. The free tools use none of these.

Your choices

You can delete your files at any time (closing them, or Delete my files now with an account). To have your account and everything in it deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email bway@waytechnology.com and we'll do it within 30 days.

Children

Easy Way PDF is for businesses and adults. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
