Will it look exactly like the PDF?

Close, but not always exact. Text, paragraphs and pictures come across, and complicated layouts can shift a little. Look over the Word file before you send it.

My PDF is a scan. Can I still edit it in Word?

A scan is a picture of a page, so there are no words to edit yet. Use Make a scan searchable first, then convert it to Word.

Are my files safe?

Files travel encrypted. With the free tools, each file is deleted from our server when you close it. With a plan you choose: delete each file when you close it, or keep your files for 30 days so Open Recent works, and delete everything at any time. The desktop app keeps your files on your own computer.
